Tuesday Trends: A Slew of Wonderful Awards

Over the last week I have been astounded by the number of gracious awards I have received, that I have saved them all up for one big post.  I had so much to post last week about the SATC2 premiere, that I wanted to wait and compile the awards together.  Organized me, as usual!  Thank y'all so much for my wonderful awards.  After the holiday weekend, I finally had a chance to sit down and personally thank you!

I love the Over the Top Award, and was so happy to have received it again from Marcie and Leslie.  Two lemon ladies, with two different blogs, gave me this award.  How weird it that?  Marcie from Lemons and Laundry is a Cali girl with such a keen sense of fashion.  And I love living vicariously through Leslie, from Lemon Sweet Life.  She just got engaged.  Lucky girl!  With this award, I must pass it on to three lovely ladies, and these ladies must keep the award going, by passing it along too.

The Going Places Award is such a fun award.  I have to write about where I think I'll be in ten years.  Wow, that's crazy to think about!  I'll be 39 then.  Almost 40?!  Hopefully by that time I'll have finished having children.  I will hopefully still be raising some good-mannered little Southern girls, and helping them achieve their goals and dreams, whatever they may be!  And my dream at 39?  A house with a wrap-around porch, with a porch swing, rocking chairs and a hammock....oh, and an amazing walk-in closet that would make Carrie Bradshaw jealous.  Hey, it's MY dream.  Haha!  Thanks to mFw at Prissy Preppy Flamingo, who has a great, preppy style, and is just as much, if not more, of a Lilly fan as me!  Maggie at C'est La Vie also gave me this award.  She heads to France in three weeks.  So jealous!  I am to pass this on to four ladies, and y'all do the same.

The Sweet Award was given to me by Same Sweet Girl: Memoir of a Southern Belle.  How appropriate right?  How "sweet" of her!  She was lucky enough to attend the Derby this year, and not get too wet.  In addition, her cupcake recipes are simply divine!  With this award, I must pass it on to ten people, and these ladies must do the same.
