Fashion Friday: Spring Picks for Less!

Last week, I showed you my Lilly Pulitzer Spring favorites.  This Fashion Friday, I thought I’d show you some great spring options, for those of you looking for a look for less.

This channels Milly, but for a lot less!
Thanks, Dina, for steering me towards this top!
I got mine in yesterday, and LOVE it!  I’m thinking of pairing it with turquoise shorts for summer.
The perfect preppy umbrella, to shelter you from any rain that comes your way. (Only $8!)
LOVE this dress.  On rainy days, I pair it with my black Hunter rain boots.
It’s the comfiest dress around, too.
With J.Crew’s code MUSTSHOP, you get 30% off all sale items, plus free shipping on $100+ orders.
This makes this dress only $42!  But hurry, the sale ends at midnight!
You can’t go wrong in stripes.  This one is only $12 with the coupon code.
I’m in love with any of J.Crew’s Vintage shirt line.  They are the softest knits!
This rich violet color is my favorite for the season.  I love pairing it with turquoise.  Only $17!

Havaianas Slim Strap Flip Flops
I wear these to the beach and pool all spring/summer long.
They’re a great neutral color, and keep the blisters at bay.

Speaking of shoes, if you live in the Charlotte area, boy, do I have a great place to tell you about!  I bought a pair of Tory Burch Kendrick Loafers at a flash sale about a month or so ago.  They were a little narrow near the top, and I couldn’t return them.  You may remember seeing them on my blog sale…
Well, I was shopping at Tory Burch a couple of weeks ago, and asked Brittany (the sweetest TB helper!) about how I could get them to stretch out.  Well, she told me to go to Customer Service at Belk (third floor, CLT ladies) and that they have a Shoe Repair shop there.  The next day, I brought my shoes to them, and explained where I needed them to be stretched out a bit.  Well, three days and a mere $5 later, my loafers were good as gold.  They felt like I’d worn them in for a year, yet looked not a day old.  Bingo!
P.S. Be sure and ask for Brittany if you’re ever shopping in the Tory Burch Boutique at South Park, she really is the best!
Hope y’all have a wonderful weekend!
We’ve got the Carolina/Duke Rival game on Saturday night!  We have to retaliate big time after their last match-up last time (the Dookies won by shooting a three with not even seconds to spare – boo.).
L says, “GO HEELS!”
Thankfully, my children bleed Carolina blue – the hubs and I both went there.
Do any of y’all have fun plans for the first weekend of March?

  1. Those tops are too cute! I love the umbrella too! I just like to have a golf sized umbrella…. I'm on a search for a preppy golf umbrella! 🙂
Our household will be rootin' on Duke this weekend. I converted (not that I really had any stake in either team in the beginning, but my brother loves UNC) because my father in law played for Coach K and was his first team. So the entire family are die hard Duke Fans. I finally became a fan the day I went to Cameron Indoor. 🙂 However I still love Carolina Blue colors! 🙂

  2. I was this close…to buying that Old Navy top. I love it. But alas, I gave up buying clothes for Lent, so I'm trying to be good. 🙂

    But after Lent…. 🙂

I need to check out that JCrew vintage shirt line. And I agree, loving the purple paired with the tourquoise.

  3. Ooo I will have to check out ON…they have some cute things from the looks of it!

Glad you got your shoes stretched…growing up that was a pretty common thing to do.

  4. Aww, thanks Ashley, you're too sweet! So glad you got the shirt-I am going back for the camel one this week, I love the navy one so much! And here's a book rec if you need one for the future-Sophie Kinsella's new one, I've Got Your Number, is really really cute and a fast read 🙂

  6. I'm a UVA grad, so normally I'm not rooting for either team, but you better believe I'll be rooting for the Tarheels this weekend. The only team I loathe more than Duke is VA Tech!

  7. Love the sailboat top!! And L looks adorable! I got a new camera so I can't wait to take more pics!! Love ya! Go HEELS!!!!
