Thirsty Thursday: The Mermaid Inn’s Bloody Mary

Happy Thursday, Y’all!  Today’s cocktail is brought to you by Kate Spade, via her latest coffee table book, Things We Love (free shipping!). I knew it was meant to be, when I opened up to Chapter One: The Color Red, and a delicious Bloody Mary recipe was on the first page.  The recipe is from The Mermaid Inn in New York, New York.
I was pretty happy about how large the book was.
After removing the jacket, to reveal a hot pink cover, I’m thinking it will coordinate well with my Emily Post Etiquette coffee table book, that’s turquoise and white.

Channeling my inner Kate Spade, I wore this yesterday.

The print on my latest Old Navy top reminds me of Kate Spade too.

This top is great, especially coming from Old Navy.  It’s soft and the quality is very nice too.  I’m planning on wearing it with colored denim and colored chino shorts this spring/summer.
In case you missed it, I announced my Lilly giveaway yesterday.  Click HERE to enter.  It ends on Sunday at midnight.  Good luck!  Hope y’all have a terrific Thursday.  I’m off to get my hair colored and cut (just a trim!).  Tomorrow night, they’re forecasting some snow.  Fingers crossed!  Snow here usually entails an inch, and then it melts within a day, but the girls need to see some this season!
