Fashion Friday: OOTDs + Whereabouts

I’ve been loving my Essie Ballet Slippers this week.  Such a great neutral color!
The weather was amazing for St. Patrick’s Day last Sunday!  Little V’s blue eyes weren’t a big fan of the bright sun.  Hope he gets used to it this summer at the beach and pool!
We spent the entire day outside!
While hanging out in the backyard, this happened.  The hubs was swinging E and the ropes broke, mid-swing.  Thankfully, she didn’t go flying, just ended up with a bruised elbow.  Now we’re using it as a seat outside for V.  I’m guessing E was just a tad too big for the swing, and that’s why the ropes broke.  They were probably old too.  That’s E’s favorite thing to do outside, so she was just a little devastated.

So Monday morning rolled around, and I didn’t even think to check the weather.  Well, it was a balmy 35 degrees, and I was freeeeezing!  I hate when the weather changes so drastically, in seriously one days time.
Here are the Brazil Nut Tory Burch Millers I got last week, that will be going back.  I think the hard medallion makes them extremely uncomfortable, so I ended up picking these instead…
I couldn’t decide which size to go with, so I ordered two.  FYI…I wear an 8.5 in Revas, and like the 9s better in these. (These are mine and little E’s feet).  She’s just as into fashion, as her mama.

If you live in the area, go to Nolen Kitchen!  They have the best appetizer menu, and their martini list is super yummy.  I went with the Pomegranate martini.  Also, be sure and head over on Tuesday nights, wine bottles are half-off!

Came across these.  How cute are they?
How cute is this little shirt on L?  Our family friend that visits us once a year from Germany, came in town last week, and brought goodies she crafted for all the kiddos.  I told her she should start an etsy shop!  I’m sure she has lots of free time, with being a doctor over there and all.
Has everyone been taking advantage of the J.Crew sale going on right now?  Use code: CARDMEMBER, to receive 30% off everything, including sale items.  I was flipping through the catalog and came across this citron color in the fabulous scalloped dress.  Now I’m really in a predicament, which color: navy, poppy or citron!  I absolutely LOVE them all!
I got these J.Crew flannel pants last week on sale for $20.  They pop up often in their sale section, so if you’re interested, keep checking back on their site.  I highly recommend them.  Very soft and comfy!
How are everyone’s brackets holding up?  New Mexico kind of messed mine up just a bit!  Way to go, Harvard!  Hopefully the games this weekend will be better for my bracket!
UNC plays tonight at 7!  GO HEELS!

TGIF, Y’all!

  1. Ashley,

Can you believe I don't own a pair of ballet slippers/shoes. You always pair yours with such adorable outfits. I am loving the scalloped dress, too, and I'm wondering what shoe you would pair with that dress. A flat, flop, or heel?

Also, I really enjoy reading your blog and watching your kids grow-up. When I started following "E" was just a baby. Time flies!

  2. I really, really, really love your bracket haha. It is precious!

It's so crazy being on UNC's campus during March Madness! I haven't been to a class all week where I don't catch someone checking their bracket. I can't wait to be out on the town tonight after we win this game! Go Heels!
