How I Do It: Running Again

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  Mother’s Day was awesome yesterday, and the weather and company couldn’t have been better.  Pics to come on Wednesday!  Today, I’m back to the topic of running.  Did anyone start back this week like me?  First off, I will say that it was rather tough.  After running only a few times this week, my legs are still pretty sore.  I guess that’s a good thing!  Last year I posted my running stats for each week on Monday, and I’m hoping to do the same this time.  Unfortunately, my running app has been giving me some trouble with inaccurate results, so I was unable to post my exact stats this week.  I’m hoping this week I can fix the problem and show you more data next week about how the week went.
One thing is for certain, I definitely stuck with the Nike Free 5.0 Shoes that I wore all last year.  While the exact ones I wore last year needed replacing, I was able to order these pretty pink ones and I’m in LOVE with them.
They worked well all this week, and I haven’t had a single ache.  I know sometimes people rave about their running shoes and say they need breaking in at first…these don’t!  The Nike Free 5.0s are also offered in other colors and fit true to size.
On Saturday, while the children napped I headed over to Nordstrom, while the hubs watched the children.  I’m so glad I did!  I stocked up on so much running gear and plan to wear it all summer long.
Check out the back on this Nike Top.
The perforations are perfect for ventilation and really cooled me down on my run.
Nike Tempos are still my favorite go-to running shorts.  They never slip or slide on my run, so I’m constantly going back for more prints and colors.  Love the prints on the black ones I’m wearing in the post.  I also really love THESE leggings.  The print on them seems so fun!
Run!  Run!  Run!

Hope y’all have a great start to your week!
*While this post was brought to you by Nordstrom, you know that I absolutely love all the brands I’m promoting and would NEVER compromise my sense of style and taste promoting something I didn’t LOVE.  And remember, if something you ordered doesn’t fit from Nordstrom, you can always return/exchange it for whatever size you need for free.
