Wednesday Whereabouts

What a fun week, and we sure stayed busy!
** Remember that you can click on items in many of my images to shop. **

First off, wanted to let you know that the Emily Ley Planners were just announced at 10am! Get them before they’re gone!  Mine came in yesterday and I’ve had so much fun browsing it this morning.  In case you haven’t heard, these planners sell out rather quickly, so if you’re interested, don’t wait!

Wheeler had her All About Me Show & Tell last week and if you don’t know her Baba by now, she’s been sleeping with him since she was a baby, and he always find a way to make it to school each year.    Love that’s she’s 7 and still loves him so much.  P. S. I’ve never been able to find a similar one as a backup so if you have, please let me know!
Lanier’s parents came in town last week to watch the kids while we headed to the Carolina game in Charlotte on Thursday to Friday.  It was also my father-in-law’s birthday, so once they got in late Wednesday, we put the kiddos to bed and headed out to dinner with them to celebrate!  If you haven’t been to Cru yet, you must!  The fried green tomatoes (on the left) are my absolute favorite!!
I’m wearing this new Mara Hoffman Dress.

Afterward, we headed to The Spectator Hotel for a cocktail that I’ll be sharing on Thursday’s post.
The decor here is beautiful.  This is a view from under the chandelier in the foyer.
And this white peacock is pretty fabulous!
We had the best weather for tailgating before the Carolina game on Thursday evening.  We stayed at our tent for most of the day, but then took some time to wander around.  My Denim Cutoffs have sold out, but here’s a similar pair and they’re on sale. They run large, so go down a size.
Not sure if you knew but I was the Sigma Chi Sweetheart in college, and these were some of the boys in the fraternity at Carolina.  It’s always good to catch up with so many familiar faces.  I honestly could’ve just stayed at the tailgates all day socializing.  It’s never enough time, especially when it’s been so long since I’d seen some of them.

By game time, I was starving!  Love me some nachos with jalapeรฑos!  Wearing this Joie top (on sale), this ring, this bracelet and this necklace.

Couldn’t leave without saying hey to Sir Purr!  Cannot wait till this Sunday’s game!
Over Labor Day weekend, we stayed here and were pretty productive at home.  With all the rain we had, it was hard to get out, so we cleaned out a lot and got organized.  The girls loved that we finally hung their canvases they painted at their art camp this summer.

With a break in the rain, we headed out on a stroller, scooter, bike ride and ventured out to the water.  Wearing this tank.
What I Wore on Saturday Night…

Top (less than $8) // Necklace (now sold out, but similar here and only $24.99) // Jeans // Sandals // Clutch // Wrap Bracelet // Bangles
After church on Sunday morning.  Of course this is what happens when I ask them to get together for a quick picture.  Boys will be boys.
Pretty girls…growing up way too quickly!
What I Wore to Church…

Dress (on sale) // Sandals // Cardigan (old, similar and 50% off here) // Wrap Bracelet // Bangles // Nails are Berry Naughty

Excited about some new smocked dresses I scored. For some reason getting new clothes for the kids always encourages me to clean out and get organized.  Leggings are on sale here.

I’ve always loved a pretty Lilly Pulitzer Iona Top and this one is just beautiful!  Can’t wait to wear it soon!  This one is quickly selling out.

And this is how we spent our day off.  Relaxing.  Not only are these Jack Rogers Jellies perfect for the pool, but they’re great for rainy days too.  I don’t have to worry about messing up a pair of shoes getting them wet.  These are made for just that.  My striped top is an old Lilly Elsa from a years ago.  I wish they’d make more striped ones in other color combos.  But I do LOVE this one!
Happy Wednesday, Y’all!

  1. I might have missed the link – where are your jean shorts from? Looking for another pair of cut-offs but don't want to pay $100+ -hopefully yours are less ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. We were at the Carolina game also. We had so much fun inspite of the ending score. My youngest daughter is a freshman there now and just finished rushing. My oldest daughter went there too. We are headed to the game this Saturday. Love those dresses. Are the collars detachable? I used to dress my three girls in dresses like that. There used to be a home based business that sold dresses like that and you could buy the different collars for the different seasons. That was so long ago and I don't think things like that exists anymore.
