What Santa Brought + After Christmas Sales: Tory Burch, Anthropologie, Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale

I hope y’all had an amazing Christmas!  We spent the morning opening presents, then I packed while the children played with all their newest toys.  Around noon we headed down to Georgia to visit my inlaws and extended family for a few days.  The drive was great!  Thankfully, no traffic!

If you’ve been reading awhile, you’ll know that at our house Santa only brings one gift to each of us.  They know their daddy and I bring them a few other gifts, but the elves in Santa’s workshop work hard to make that one special gift.  So when they tell Santa what they want, he better deliver.  Ha.  So far, the gift requests have been pretty easy, and nothing too random.

This year Wheeler wanted a Kit American Girl Doll.  She wanted one with short hair so it wouldn’t get messed up as easily as her Caroline one with curls.  Wheeler’s really into outer space and was so excited to get to create helmets for both of them.  Effie asked for a Barbie Dreamhouse.

Logan asked Santa for another Mack Truck with a trailer, from Cars.  I say ‘another’ because he had one and lost the trailer somewhere.  Instead of asking him for another gift, he just wanted to make sure he was going to get a trailer again.  Vaughn is still at the age where he isn’t opinionated on what he wants, so Santa told him that he was going to bring him a surprise.  He’s really into scuba divers (‘astronauts’ as he calls them, no matter how many times I correct him), so I got him a scuba diver play kit from the aquarium.

Santa brought me an Apple Watch (haven’t had a chance to play with it yet, but I’ve worn it for a day and love it so far), Boozer got an ornament and Lanier got a new watch.  Can’t wait to share more pics with you on this week’s Wednesday Whereabouts!
