Charleston Wine & Food Festival Fun + An Awesome Dress You Want (And It’s on Sale!)

Good morning and happy Saturday!  The Charleston Wine and Food Festival is here and I cannot wait to continue with the festivities all day today.
Last night, Lanier and I dined at High Cotton and had so many delicious courses paired with different wines that were delicious, as well.  Can’t wait to share more pics with you on this week’s Wednesday Whereabouts.

Today, I really wanted to share this dress that I wore with you.  It’s by Clover Canyon and currently on sale, with an additional 15% off, but only until midnight tonight, making it almost $200 off!  Be sure and use code: BIGEVENT16.  The fabric is nothing like I’ve ever worn before!  It’s made out of neoprene, but a really light, smooth neoprene.  Think no wrinkling and no static.  Whenever people would compliment my dress, I would get them to touch it because it was just so cool.  For sizing, it was a little big, but you know me and how I don’t like anything too fitted.  I’m wearing a small.  Also, it has pockets.  I’m usually not a fan of pockets on a dress because it doesn’t exactly accentuate the right area, but these pockets were really hidden, and the perfect touch.  Trust me, you will love it!  Cannot wait to have an excuse to get to wear it again soon! // Paired it with these heels.

Kate Spade Case (only $23 and free shipping with code: YESPLEASE) // Sunglasses

After dining at Monza yesterday afternoon, I had some time to pop into Anthropologie and found some really cute pieces!  This Circle Hem Poncho was my favorite!  It’s a great weight for this time of year and the length hits at the right spot.  I’m wearing the XS/S.  Also shown, these jeans and this Sailboat Dress.  Loved it too!  Fit was true to size.

I also got two contenders for what I’ll be wearing today.  Since it’s supposed to be on the cooler side, I’ll probably go with the blue dress on the right, but the shift dress on the left is gorgeous on!  In fact, I just checked and it’s so popular that it’s almost sold out online!  The blue dress runs a tad big.  I got a small.  In the shift, I went with a 6.  It fits true to size.
In case you missed my monthly outfit round-up, head back to yesterday’s post!
Also, don’t forget that Shopbop’s Spring Sale ends at midnight!  Check out my absolute faves here and more of my favorites here.
I got both these black Rebecca Minkoff Sandals and gold ones in yesterday and love them!  I thought I’d be able to choose just one color, but I’m kind of loving both!  They fit true to size and are super comfortable.
I hope y’all are having a great weekend so far!

    1. Thanks, Emily! So far I've worn the black ones and love the way they fit. Some of the others I've tried similar to this style seem to start sagging or are too big. But these fit great!

  1. Love your blog! Random question for you about Tory Burch Miller sandals-I'm looking for some new ones for spring. Do you know if TB has any sales coming up? I wasn't sure when she does her friends and family sale. Any advice would be appreciated. I'd hate to buy full price only to see them discounted soon after. Thank you!
