The Classic Stripe

For today’s post, I’m talking stripes. While there’s nothing wrong with a solid color, I just love stripes. Whatever the season, they’re always in style. To start off, this cardigan is the perfect length and available in over ten colors. These colors are on sale. Most of my cardigans have a prerequisite, that they must cover my rear, and this one does just that. It’s also a lightweight material (but not too thin), so it’s perfect for this time of year.

I paired it with this v-neck tee – one of my go-tos and super comfy.

These jeans – love the subtle tears at the knees, but that they’re not completely ripped through. These fit true to size. I don’t know what it is, but I love AG’s style the best, when it comes to ripped jeans. This is a great color too.

Many of you have asked about my cutoffs I’ve worn so much this summer. They’re Rag & Bone, and I truly wear them all the time. They’re so soft and the perfect amount of worn-in. For fit, they run big, so make sure and order a size down.

When the weather cools, this is one way I wear my stripes paired with another print. Here’s a similar version of this vest, this striped top and these leggings (only $23.98). Holding these sunnies. And y’all have no idea who much I love these brown fringed boots. I’ve had them a few years and still love pulling them out each fall season.

In fact, they recently came out with this lighter tan color and I’m loving them too. Be prepared to see them in an outfit post soon!

The next stripe top I’ve been eyeing is this one. Love the bell sleeves. And I’m loving this one too.

One more thing I wanted to add: I got these wedges earlier this week and absolutely LOVE them! They fit true to size, and seriously are as soft as butter. I’m already trying to think of when I can hurry up and get to wear them. For a lower price point, check out these that are similar. But trust me, these are the perfect neutral and will go with everything in your closet this season. Remember, Nordstrom also has an awesome (and simple) return policy. The sticker return label is already included in the package. So if you can’t decide on which size to get, order both and just return the ones that don’t fit.

I hope y’all have a great weekend! The rain finally stopped and it’s been a bit cloudy, but I’ll take that over rain any day! Logan’s birthday is today and he’s turning 5!!! Don’t even get me started. Alllllllll the emotions. And he’s finally at the age where he’s super psyched it’s his special day. Like last night, you would’ve thought he was anticipating Christmas morning. Needless to say, we’ve got a weekend’s worth of celebrating planned. Can’t wait to share pictures with you soon!
